Non, je ne regrette rien... (Pt. one)

oh Paris! oh Paris! First time, first kiss! It kissed me, although it was a short kiss :D 

It was my first time in the french capital and I was really really impressed and asked myself why it took me so long for visiting this so close country. Maybe because I travelled more east than west and like there are many people in Germany living next door to Poland for example, they never visit their neighbours as well. 

I've travelled some places in France but never did Paris before. Now I know that I will be back! It was not only great like I thought of, but even better. 'Les boulangerie-pâtisserie', the streets, the seine, the architecture, the street musicians, the well dressed people, but especially the friendly, helpful and calm people we had the pleasure to meet! I know that many of you have been there before, or even lived there (like you Anne :D), and I admire you for that and can imagine what a treasure it must be, staying there for a longer time than some days. Here are some of my little moments in this town always as a memory from february 2014. February started super and my breakfest today with a piece of Paris in my german kitchen too!

Rituals

This is simplicity. ha! Three years ago I started drinking coffee. 
Before that time I can really tell you that I hated it. But tastes change, and there was a time when I had less sleep and stay awake. So I started with much milk and strong espresso. Since last year I am a happy owner of this treasure. Every morning starts with this very slowly ritual doing it the best I can. The machine needs 30 minutes for having the best temperature, so the first thing after standing up means 'turning it on'! :D

Outside and Inside

First Fleamarket this year suprised us with it's clean sky, fresh air and the very best of the sun. What can be better to poke between antiques, dogs, furs, porcelain, currywurst and all kinds of people on a sunday morning? For me it is the perfect sunday if it's like that. And not enough, I found these very beautiful (self drawn and well printed on great paper) cards (you see in the last picture) from mme ulma in my post box today! ulma, thank you sooooo much! Your postcard set is pretty pretty cool I like it sooo much and the text and I think I will send them to myself hahah :D

Everything's new. Everything fine.
New year started with sun, birds, clean air, a morning walk and good mood.

Wave Goodbye Monsieur December!

Can't believe december is gone. So much wind, rain, coldness but also warmth inside, yummy self-made christmas cookies, apple glogg, tradiotional christmas market, friends and family. The christmas tree is still shining and today we wave december and 2013 goodbye. Without snow unfortunetly but with a smile and the lust for 2014!
It was a happy yearfor us, travelling, kissing, getting married, becoming one family and looking for new adventures. So happy and thankful for what I have. Especially the close people around. The next year should only bring more time to spend it with the beloved ones.

This is my first and very last post for 2013.
Many happy moments in pictures from december who unfortunately forgot about snow here. 
For sure we will have some this march, when he stops by for a week or two :D hahaha
